Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Unlockie ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Unlockie. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. User Accounts and Roles

3.1 Account Types

Unlockie offers two types of user accounts:

• Creators: Users who upload and monetize content
• Supporters: Users who contribute funds to unlock content

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Creator Terms

4.1 Content Ownership and Rights

Before creating a campaign, Creators must acknowledge and warrant that:

• They own all rights to the content they upload or have obtained all necessary permissions
• They have the legal right to distribute, display, and monetize the content
• The content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
• They have obtained consent from any individuals appearing in the content

4.2 Content Guidelines

While Unlockie allows mature content in accordance with Swiss law, Creators must ensure their content:

• Does not violate any applicable Swiss or international laws
• Does not contain illegal material under the Swiss Criminal Code
• Does not depict minors (under 18) in any sexual or suggestive context
• Does not promote violence, hatred, or discrimination as defined by Swiss law
• Complies with Swiss regulations on adult content distribution
• Is accurately represented in previews and descriptions

4.3 Platform Fees

Creators agree to pay Unlockie a platform fee of 8% on all successfully funded campaigns. This fee is automatically deducted from the total funds raised.

5. Supporter Terms

5.1 Contributions

Supporters understand that:

• Contributions are final and non-refundable once a campaign reaches its funding goal
• Content access is granted only after the funding goal is met
• They are contributing to unlock specific content, not making a donation

5.2 Content Access

Once a campaign is successfully funded, Supporters who contributed will receive access to the full content as described by the Creator.

Users may not:

• Use the Platform for any illegal purposes
• Upload or share content involving minors
• Engage in fraud or misrepresentation
• Circumvent payment systems or content access restrictions
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Attempt to hack or compromise the Platform's security

8. Intellectual Property

All content uploaded to Unlockie remains the property of the respective Creators. By uploading content, Creators grant Unlockie a limited, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote the content as necessary for Platform operations.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. UNLOCKIE IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Unlockie from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Platform.

12. Termination

Unlockie reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, specifically the Swiss Code of Obligations, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
